I am a freelancer working on my own from home and I have the upmost respect for my client's personal data only processing personal information for the following purposes: to contact my clients to discuss a project that we might be working or that I have been asked to quote upon.

Information I gather might include:

• Your name - its nice to know the people I'm working for and what to put on your business card.

• Your contact telephone number - sometimes I like to chat on the phone and again a business card or website might be a bit useless without this information included.

• Your email address - its good to gather feedback on my designs so that I can give you what you want and ditto again above.

• Your postal address - occasionally I might have some printing sent to you or help you get registered with Google, you might also want to include this on your new stationery (did I mention that this is what I do ?)

I never use any information gathered for any purposes except those outlined above. I will not use your information for any email marketing or similar activity.

I build websites using Wix and encourage my clients to set up their own account and simply make me a contributor so I am not privy to your personal information such as log in and account details. You can read all about Wix and their privacy policy here.

Cookies are implemented in every site built by Wix, including this one. Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a site visitor's browser, usually used to keep track of their movements and actions on a site.

I use Outlook and your email address will be stored in my personal contacts folder - like you would with a friend. Like any email system data is stored securely by those clever data centre people but you can read all about that here if you wish.

Occasionally I like to share my work on Social Media, images may include your business information in the form of a business card or website link, this will not be done without your prior permission.

​In accordance with GDPR, from 25 May 2018 you may request a copy of any data I may have about you.

 

I will not sell or pass on any information or data to any other company, business or individual, unless required to do so by law.

I retain and hold all information gathered securely under the Data Protection Act and in line with ICO recommendations.
